This one could be difficult depending on who the reader is. There is a good bit of infidelity here. Adulterous behavior. That being said, I loved the series. I’ve been with my husband for 20 years this year. I do not support adultery. However, I did not see Bill and Olivia as a very good match. And I understand that people marry for different reasons. However, when you are smacked in the face with real, feel it in your soul love, there is no denying it. You can fight it all you want but it will win, with you kicking and screaming. I believe that is what Olivia and David have. The take no prisoners kind of love. And it can be overwhelming and scary. Especially when you are used to safe and steady.I found myself routing for both of them for a while. I felt bad for Olivia. She was scared out of her mind. And all the damage she had still stewing inside over her parents divorce and her mothers lack of love. That sucks! Few things can mess someone up as sure as a mother that doesn’t love her child. It becomes, “what’s so wrong with me that my own mother doesn’t love me?” I’ve lived through that myself. But the more I read the more site I was that Olivia and David would end up together. I was about to scream enough already! She had him and nearly lost him. That would’ve been tragic. I’m not sure she could have gotten over that.I loved her Dad, Davena and Mack. I wish they had surrounded her more but she is an adult so I guess it was time for her to figure out things like that on her own.Screw Lucy. Pole up your ass much?!? Welcome to the real world where everything isn’t roses and sunshine. She can’t even consider herself a good friend for the judgement she passed.LOVED Gretchen!! I’d like a Gretchen in my life. What a friend. Just loved her.David. Holy smokes. Olivia had him by the balls and he was just as scared as she was. Maybe more so because she had a husband to fall back on. But he was already bitten. He was in love and refused to give up without as big of a fight as he could muster. And what a fight it was. I don’t think Olivia would’ve even thought she had the option to leave Bill. That was never on her radar until David said it. She was convinced I think that Bill was going to have to leave her. I wanted to hug David when he made that an option in her mind. I really feel they are the real deal.Loved this series. Highly recommend.
